Dual RCA Input
R1280T powered bookshelf speakers lets you connect to multiple audio devices using the dual RCA inputs. By looking at the back panel you can easily tell one of these is a passive speaker and one is an active speaker. The active speaker has two inputs located on the back. These inputs are perfect for RCA to RCA or RCA to AUX connections. Connect them to a PC, laptop, tablet, phone or record player. The speakers are connected to each other via regular speaker wire. Bought these speakers last month and connected them to my turntable in the 2nd bedroom. They are truly brilliant for the size. They pump out enough sound for the size of the room. I also love having a remote control for volume.

If I had known these speakers didn't have a headphone input I never would have bought them.
I got these by a mistake off a site where I was told they were taken out of the box but never used but they were listed as the R1280Ts model which has the sub out port. I have 2 subwoofers and thought it would be nice to be able to use one but these don't have a way to hook up a sub. They offered me to keep them for the mistake and refunded my money. I am on disability so the price worked well for me I had a pair of B*** Companion II computer speakers. I got them thinking they would be like other Bose speakers but I just wasn't pleased with them. These blow them out of the water. The sound is awesome from them. I am blown away I find myself listening and enjoying music finally from my PC. I am going to connect them to my TV also in my family room where my computer is. I can't give enough praise to these I never expected such great sound from such a small speaker.
